Instead of adding new sets every day, we now choose the types you need based on your learning data, and bring you questions carefully checked for accuracy and difficulty.

Version 2.2.2 is here to make your everyday learning more fun to keep up with.

For EPS-TOPIK prep, we've added a new type of question and recommendations made just for you. For Basic Korean, we've added practice spaces where you can review the letters you've learned, pressure-free. Write, listen, and repeat as much as you want.

Here's what's changed.

EPS-TOPIK

A new kind of question has arrived in 'Choose by picture'

We've added a new style of question to 'Choose by picture' in the Reading section. Look at the picture and choose the letter that fills the blank to complete the word.

Home recommends questions that fit you

The recommendations on your home screen are no longer random. Types you haven't tried yet, areas you haven't practiced much lately, and types similar to what you're solving now — we pick them fresh each day based on your learning history.

Each card shows why it's recommended, with reasons like "A type you haven't tried yet" or "You haven't practiced Listening much lately." Get a pick and jump straight into solving.

Practice by type now shows how much you've done, in numbers

In Practice by type, you can see in numbers how many sets each type has in total and how many you've solved so far. Each set gets a number (Set #1, #2…), and newly added sets get an N mark.

See where you left off and decide what to solve next at a glance.

Basic Korean

New Tracing and Listening practice

Two new practice spaces have appeared in 'More practice' on Home.

Tracing Practice is a space to trace frequently used letters over and over, in order. Just pick one consonant and the app decides the rest of the order for you. There's no grading, so you can repeat without worrying about mistakes until your hand remembers. What you write is saved automatically, and how much you've written adds up as your progress.
Listening Practice is a space to hear a sound and guess which letter it is. You can also pick and listen to just the letters you've learned. Train your ear to recognize the letters you already know by sight.

Build syllables and the Syllable chart are still right where they were, in the 'Hangul tools' section.

Preview the pronunciation of the words you learn

From now on, you can also preview the example words you learn in lessons. Tap a word that appears with a letter and its pronunciation plays right away.

Revisit lessons you've completed

In the Learn tab, expand a finished block right where it is to solve it again. Tap a completed checkpoint quiz to reopen its full results.

General

Sound effects, and an app that responds better

A satisfying sound effect plays every time you complete a step of learning. If you'd rather not, you can turn it off in My Page.

We've also refined how the app responds throughout — buttons, cards, tab transitions, and more.

Stability and speed improvements too

We've fixed issues like Bluetooth earphone audio cutting out or going silent, and the device heating up while solving questions, and improved the app's overall stability and performance.

Get started right away

Update to the latest version on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and you're ready to go.

Write today's letters again today, and start with the questions Home recommends for you. The more you repeat, the more your Korean grows.
