Introduction
Preparing for Korea's Government-to-Government Employment Permit System (EPS) from Indonesia takes more than Korean study. On the Indonesian side, Kementerian Pelindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (KemenP2MI)/BP2MI and BP3MI/P4MI handle registration and document checks, while HRD Korea is involved in EPS-TOPIK test administration and passing decisions. Official 2025 notices and 2026 field updates identify Indonesia's regular EPS-TOPIK as a UBT (Ubiquitous-Based Test)12.
This guide is checked against the HRD Korea Indonesia EPS Center, KemenP2MI/BP2MI notices, and National Institute for International Education (NIIED) materials available as of July 2026. It covers:
- Basic eligibility and sector-specific checks
- SISKOP2MI registration, document verification, and BNI payment
- The UBT format and its 50-minute structure
- The roster and deployment steps after passing
- TOPIK vs. EPS-TOPIK and official channels
The latest recruitment notice for your sector always takes priority. Industries, documents, fees, and dates can change from one round to the next.
1. Eligibility for Indonesian EPS-TOPIK Applicants
The HRD Korea Indonesia EPS Center lists these baseline criteria: age 18 to 39, no disqualifying criminal record, no deportation from Korea, no restriction on leaving Indonesia, no total or partial color blindness, and a combined E-9/E-10 stay in Korea of less than five years.1 The 2025 KemenP2MI regular manufacturing UBT notice added the following conditions3.

This is not a permanent table for every 2026 sector. A physical or medical issue may affect the second-stage job suitability decision differently from eligibility for the language test itself. Use the current sector notice and designated medical process for an individual decision.
Check the sector in the current notice
Recent official notices have listed manufacturing, fishing, shipbuilding, Service 1, and Service 2 as separate sectors, with job-related testing after the language test24. However, not every sector opens every year or at the same time. The annual notice determines the available sectors, quota, test dates, and skills-test schedule. Do not assume that multiple sectors can be entered in one round; check the choices allowed in the SISKOP2MI application screen and the notice.
2. SISKOP2MI Registration and the Exam Fee
Registration flow
The 2025 regular manufacturing UBT notice used this application flow3:
- Apply personally through SISKOP2MI The official application address is siskop2mi.bp2mi.go.id. Prepare your KTP, passport if available, a recent color photo, proof of at least SLTP education, a bankbook in your own name, and the signed personal-data protection statement in the file formats specified by the notice.
- Record fingerprints and a photo Applicants without an existing record in SISKOP2MI complete biometric registration at the selected BP3MI or P4MI.
- Complete online document verification If a file is returned, correct it in the SISKOP2MI account and resubmit it before the stated deadline. Only verified applicants can print the exam card.
- Bring the exam card and identity documents Bring the original documents specified in the notice, including the exam card and the KTP/passport used for registration. A mismatch in name, date of birth, or gender can cancel the deployment process even after a passing result35.
BNI payment and the three-hour code window
Under the 2025 regular recruitment notice, the exam fee was the rupiah equivalent of USD 28 and had to be paid using the BNI Kode Bayar. The notice listed BNI ATM, Mobile Banking, SMS Banking, Teller, Agen46, and iBank Personal as payment routes3. Follow only the BNI routes listed in the notice for your round.
The validity window for a Virtual Account or billing code must be read from the notice for the specific round. A 2025 special UBT announcement explicitly stated that its billing code was active for three hours and had to be generated again if payment was not completed within that time5. If the 2026 SISKOP2MI screen or notice shows the same three-hour condition, pay immediately after generating the code. The current notice controls the fee, bank, and final deadline.

3. The UBT Format and the 50-Minute Test
Test medium
Current Indonesian G-to-G notices call the test UBT. The 2024 KemenP2MI implementation notice said that candidates would not receive paper question or answer sheets and would answer on tablets at the test site. 2026 manufacturing and fishing field updates continue to use the UBT name26. Choose study tools that reflect reading on a tablet screen and answering by touch. Follow the device instructions given during the pre-test orientation.
General EPS-TOPIK structure
The HRD Korea Indonesia EPS Center describes the general manufacturing and fishing EPS-TOPIK as follows1:

Practice reading and listening as two 25-minute sections in a UBT-style on-screen environment. The exact device interaction and end-of-test procedure are explained in the round's instructions and at the venue.
Cutoffs and relative selection
The cutoff is determined by the round, sector demand, and HRD Korea's selection criteria. The 2025 manufacturing notice did not publish one permanent passing score; it said HRD Korea would select by ranking from the highest results3. Instead of treating 150 points as a universal safe score, check the current sector notice, recruitment quota, and second-stage skills and competency requirements.
4. From Passing to Korea
Passing EPS-TOPIK does not mean that you can start working in Korea immediately; it is a qualification to proceed with the G-to-G employment application. KemenP2MI explicitly describes the pass as a qualification to apply, not a promise of placement3. The broad sequence is:
- Confirm the result and apply online: Depending on the notice, successful candidates check an electronic certificate in SISKOP2MI and submit the online job application and documents7.
- Complete the second-stage skills and competency test: Depending on the sector, this can include physical strength, an interview, and basic ability. The 2025 manufacturing notice limited this stage to first-stage EPS-TOPIK passers3.
- Enter the jobseeker roster and pass HRD Korea review: After document verification and the HRD Korea process, the candidate can enter the roster for employer selection. The Korean EPS system states that a passing result is valid for two years from the announcement date7.
- Contract, visa, and departure: Employer selection, the standard labor contract, visa processing, and departure preparation follow. Timing varies by sector, documents, and employer selection, so a fixed average wait or flight date should not be promised.
5. TOPIK Is Not EPS-TOPIK
Having a general TOPIK score does not satisfy the EPS-TOPIK requirement for the G-to-G employment process.

NIIED describes TOPIK as a general assessment used for Korean study, university admission, and employment8. The HRD Korea Indonesia EPS Center says that TOPIK cannot be used to apply for work in Korea through EPS9. If your goal is G-to-G employment, follow the EPS-TOPIK notice rather than registering for academic TOPIK by mistake.
6. Common Mistakes
- Following an outdated test description: Replace older computer-test instructions with the current UBT and 50-minute description.
- Using the wrong official channel: SISKOP2MI handles applications, the HRD Korea Indonesia EPS Center provides test information, and KemenP2MI/BP2MI publishes recruitment and verification notices.
- Entering identity data differently: Match your name, date of birth, and gender exactly to your KTP and passport.
- Taking academic TOPIK for an EPS application: TOPIK does not replace EPS-TOPIK.
- Using an unofficial agent: Submit documents and payments only through the official system and institutions named in the notice.
Wrapping Up
For Indonesian EPS-TOPIK applicants, the practical sequence is check the latest KemenP2MI/BP2MI notice → apply and verify documents in SISKOP2MI → pay through BNI → take the 50-minute UBT → complete the second-stage assessment, roster, and employer selection. Treat the current sector notice as the authority for cutoffs, fees, dates, and eligibility, and prepare for the UBT format described in the 2026 field updates.
